  • Hugely disappointing!

by The Pom on 22/01/2025ABBA Arena - LondonRating: 1 out of 5

We attended the matinee on Sat 18th Jan and we were really looking forward to the show. The equipment failed after two songs and we were kept waiting nearly an hour before the show resumed. Holding announcements were given out. After one further song the equipment failed again. The show was finally able to resume and run to the end after another 10 minutes or so but by this time all our enjoyment had gone, the illusion had been shattered and it just felt like a glorified karaoke show. We were just waiting for the equipment to fail after every song. We subsequently received a generic apology email from the show organisers. I asked for a full refund but this was refused as the organisers said they had delivered a full show as per their terms and conditions. There seemed to be no consideration to the poor customer experience or that people had probably to leave early to meet onward travel commitments. I'm sure if the show runs as scheduled it will be a fantastic experience for people that attend, but not for us. I hope that people do not experience such technical failures in the future.

  • A bit of a letdown

    by SaS45 on 21/01/2025ABBA Arena - LondonRating: 1 out of 5

We went to the 3pm showing on the 18th January. The show started well but after just 2 songs was stopped due to technical difficulties. We then waited nearly 45 minutes for the show to restart, which it did and then promptly stopped after 1 song..again due to technical issues. Given that the show is only 90 minutes long and was due to finish originally at 4.30 pm, I had made plans and had dinner reservations for my birthday, so had to leave. The show finally started again just after 4.30pm but I'd already left having seen just 3 songs. The show for those of my friends who did stay was cut short and it also meant them missing their train and having to purchase new train tickets

  • TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES TOTALLING 1 HOUR AND 20 MINS!!!!!!!!!

by MRS BRADY on 20/01/2025ABBA Arena - LondonRating: 1 out of 5

Firstly, I booked 3 tickets and we are all pensioners. The first song was played and then technical difficulties lasted an hour whilst we were standing in the dance arena which was way too many people. After an hour had passed, another song was played and then technical difficulties again which lasted approximately 20 minutes. The entire day was totally spoilt and we also had to pay a surcharge to our pre-booked taxi! Not happy!

  • Could have been better!

by Batts on 20/01/2025ABBA Arena - LondonRating: 3 out of 5

Overall a good time was had. Getting to the venue was very straightforward and easy. Into the arena which was well signed and security checks all good. What let the afternoon down were two "technical issues ". The first occurring after only the second song. The concert started again but after one song they then had a further "technical issue ". The concert finished over an hour later than expected. Overall the concert was fab but having these issues I feel did spoil the overall enjoyment.

  • Disappointed

by JJ on 20/01/2025ABBA Arena - LondonRating: 3 out of 5

Took group of friends to see the show as we'd already seen it and were blown away - they had technical issues so we were left for a long time with nothing and over run so we missed our train that I'd left ample time - and cost a further £200 .. did VIP service and people were fab - food choice was a lot less and not what we'd had on the previous visit.

  • Amazing ABBA!

by Mark on 19/01/2025ABBA Arena - LondonRating: 5 out of 5

Great evening at ABBA Voyage. Well worth going down down memory lane to watch a great band with modern technology!

  • Show brilliant technical issues disappointing

by Cassie on 19/01/2025ABBA Arena - LondonRating: 4 out of 5

All started well but after just 2 songs the show was stopped for approximately an hour due to technical issues. Started for 1 more song then stopped for another 10 minutes or so, again for technical issues. I appreciate these things happen but it did spoil the experience hence only 4 stars. The show itself was magnificent but as this was my first time of going I do wonder if we missed any of the show.

  • Flawed by technology!!!

by Toby on 19/01/2025ABBA Arena - LondonRating: 3 out of 5

We were really looking forward to the show but 2 songs in everything went dark, the band left the stage & it was announced that there would be a delay due to a technical fault!! 1 hour later the show started again only to stop again after 1 song!!! It did restart again after only 5 minutes but it did really mar the experience. To have the show pause for over an hour is pretty poor. Having said that once the show got started it was great & both my wife and I would probably go again. Technology is great when it works but when it doesn't… Considering this show is mostly about CGI & holographic projections the tech needs to be flawless.

  • Good but too expensive

by Stefan on 29/12/2024ABBA Arena - LondonRating: 3 out of 5

It's a good idea well executed but I was left thinking that the technology is a bit out of date by now and the show could be a lot more impressive. If you are a really die hard fan of ABBA consider it a 4 star review as the music will overpower everything I am saying . However it is a bit too expensive. I was sitting there wishing they would go a bit more creative and have things like costume changes/background during the show . I understand the creative choice to go for a "recreation"of an ABBA concert in current time but at no point you are fooled that those are actual real people so it never feels like that, with that in mind I think it would be better if they just went crazy with the effects. Overall around 6/10 because the cost is too high. If you can get tickets around 30 max 40 pounds and if you are a die hard fan you will be happier to pay on the higher side to see it but otherwise not worth it.

  • best day of my life

by julia on 28/12/2024ABBA Arena - LondonRating: 5 out of 5

this was honestly the best show i've ever seen. the visuals were exeptional and the holograms were crazily accurate, it really felt like we were watching the real abba (circa 1979) on stage. the venue wasn't too crowded either and you had a good view wherever you were because nobody's phones were in the way and everyone was dancing and singing. i will 1000% be going again.
