Since launching in 2006, The Great Escape has helped kickstart the careers of some of music’s biggest names. Past alumni include Adele, Chali XCX, Ed Sheeran, Haim, Dave, Fontaines D.C, Stormzy, Lewis Capaldi, Sleep Token, Sam Fender and Skepta – all artists who performed intimate TGE shows before lighting up global stages. Each year, over 450 acts perform across 30+ venues, creating an electrifying atmosphere of discovery, energy, and surprise.

The festival’s Spotlight Shows at venues like the Brighton Dome have become legendary, hosting powerful performances from breakout stars and household names alike.
