About

Celebrate 20 years of elemental storytelling, unforgettable characters, and the epic journey that defined a generation.

Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert – 20th Anniversary Tour presents a stunning live orchestral performance of the series’ beloved soundtrack, now elevated with a once-in-a-lifetime cinematic experience.

This special anniversary edition features a two-hour visual journey through all three seasons of the iconic animated series, projected on a full-size cinema screen with new elements and artistic surprises crafted for this special anniversary edition that offers fresh perspectives on the show’s legacy.

Preserving the original dialogue and sound effects, the concert replaces the recorded score with a powerful live orchestra, performing the legendary music of Emmy® Award-winning composer Jeremy Zuckerman, the creative mastermind behind the show's original music, in perfect sync with the action on screen.

From taiko drums and erhu to soaring strings and delicate woodwinds, the music comes alive alongside the adventures of Aang, Katara, Toph, Sokka, Zuko, and more, all brought together by Zuckerman’s expanded arrangements and creative collaboration with original series editor Jeff Adams.

With a few inspired additions and celebratory touches designed to mark the occasion just for this milestone tour, longtime fans and newcomers alike will experience Avatar: The Last Airbender like never before.

  • A beautiful nostalgia trip, but...

My partner and I attended the Avatar: The Last Airbender concert at Swansea Arena in February. It was a truly beautiful concert and such an emotional trip down memory lane. We laughed, cried and reminisced our way through all of our favourite moments of the series - the music, dialogue and animated scenery were blended seamlessly and made for a very memorable experience. However - we were a little bit disappointed that the orchestra we were expecting to see was quite small at around 12 musicians and a few vocalists. In addition to this - most of the eastern instruments were unfortunately not played live, but prerecorded on a backing track (with the exception of a Pipa and a woodwind instrument which were played beautifully live on stage). Don't get me wrong - the musicians on stage were incredible and truly impressive, but at £70 a ticket we were hoping to see a fuller orchestra with more of the Eastern instruments that are so integral to the musical score actually played live. I'm not sure if this smaller ensemble was unique to the concert we attended, as I've seen footage of the same concert at other venues which had a fuller orchestra. Despite the above, it was still a wonderful evening and nostalgia trip. A special shoutout to the conductor - who practically levitated off of the stage with enthusiasm at many points in the show - his joy was absolutely infectious and made the experience even more enjoyable!

My daughter and I saw Avatar The Last Air Bender at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on Friday. Honestly breathtaking, if you know Avatar The Last Airbender it hits all the right notes, you will cry, laugh and admire this beautiful production. The orchestra was unbelievable, and I was so immersed by the vocalists at times that they weren't there, you felt so part of it. Outstanding, beautiful and breathtaking!
